Hunger Relief

The Hunger Relief program helps reduce hunger and hardship in our city by providing food and bread to low-income families. HRPCH Food Pantries served 10,282 families and provided bread to 13,350 families in 2008.

More families are coming to our food pantries due to the current economic situation. In the first quarter of 2009, we served 480 more families compared to the first quarter of 2008.

Food Pantries:

Families whose income is at 125% or lower of the poverty rate can enroll and receive free food for up to twelve months. Recipients must provide state drivers license or identification card.
